It’s not the first time that speculations of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding are doing the rounds, but this time it is hard to believe that there’s no truth in the grapevine.
Well, there are so many “facts” that have led us to believe that the rumours are all true. Both of them have been spotted flying abroad. Their families are also not in town. And then Anushka’s family priest also boarded the same flight as her. Of course, something is cooking and it’s possibly their wedding.
While Virat’s and Anushka’s spokesperson have denied the reports, people suspect they want to keep it a hush-hush affair. On the other side, an insider has confirmed to Bombay Times that they are indeed tying the knot.
“The invitations have gone out to close friends and family. Only a few of Virat's friends from Delhi have been invited — one is his childhood buddy, who used to play league cricket with him, and the other, who has been advising him on his fitness.”
During this time, neither Virat is available on the ground, and nor is Anushka on the film’s sets. It is said that Virat won’t be playing T20 and Anushka has also reportedly taken a break from her work schedule.
What’s more? Andrew Daniels, who is the CEO of the stadium where Virat enjoys batting, is also thrilled for their wedding. So much so, that he wants them to get married on the pitch and has sent out an invite for the same.
